One of the coolest places on earth to visit is Austin, Texas, and we're not talking about the weather. The first thing you have to do is visit the Austin Museum of Art. It's a must. There are so many cool paintings and drawings in the museum that you will never once think you've seen something twice. Everything in the Austin Museum of Art stands on its own merits.

One of the reasons why Austin is such a wonderful place to visit is because of all the festivals that take place there. It's called the "Live Music Capitol of the World" for a reason. That's because there are so many great live music venues around town. A lot of these venues are home to some of the music and film festivals Austin hosts. Like South by Southwest (SXSW), the Fun Fun Fun Fest, Austin Film Festival, and Austin City Limits Music Festival. You also never know when a movie may be shooting in Austin and you could find yourself as an extra in the background. Since Austin is such a unique looking town, its backdrop has been the scene for many movie locations such as Dazed and Confused, Blank Check and Grindhouse.
